Darul Khair Center, located in Stouffville in the Greater Toronto Area, was established in 2012 when Muslim families started moving into this quiet neighborhood. Seeking to fulfill the local community's spiritual and social needs, Darul Khair has since facilitated performing the daily prayers, Friday prayers, Eid prayers, and the learning of the Quran. As the community is growing, so is the need to grow the center.

Darul Khair had a humble beginning like many masjids in the GTA. As Muslims started moving to Stouffville around 2008-2009, there was a need for a place to pray and unite with the community. Several brothers would often gather at a brother’s house and pray once a week in congregation. However, a week before Ramadan in 2009 some brothers decided to rent a place on Main Street just for the month of Ramadan and soon after that Alhamdulillah with the support of a few but dedicated members of our community, we continued to rent it establishing Darul Khair.
