Alhamdulillah, we're down to the last 100K

From fundraising at Jumah today at three different Masjids (Abu Huraira, Milton, and Peterborough), we got $9,866, Alhamdulillah.

Alhamdulilah, we had a great fundraising dinner over the weekend, with a big turnout and great support. Over $150K was raised in donations and pledges.

We're now passed the 70% mark, Alhamdulillah!

Darul Khair Center is a non-profit organization located in Stouffville, Ontario. It is an active member of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) Muslim community providing a multitude of services enabling them to live their spirituality and integrate in their society through social activities and specific programs catered to the needs of each member of the community.

With the growing number of Muslims in the city, the current location was no longer sufficient to accommodate everyone. In the end of 2016, we had this rare opportunity to purchase a new property spanning 2200 Square Feet, with multiple entrances and ample parking.

We jumped on it!

The total property cost is $480,000 CAD, due by 31 March 2017. We have already collected $180,000 and urgently need the remaining funds to complete the purchase.

With your support, the new place will insha’Allah meet the needs of the 200 Muslim families of Stouffville. And you will receive a Sadaqah Jariyah.
