JAMIA MASJID AULIA ALLAH PROJECT: Rezoning of the Masjid Property was unanimously approved by the City of Surrey, BC on June 29, 2015. Now we need your support to build the new Mosque. The cost of construction of the new Masjid is estimated to be about $3M. The permit fees and other miscellaneous City of Surrey fees are estimated to be about 50k. Final update of Masjid building and utilities design is in progress.

Purchase Date: Sep, 14, 2012

Purchase Price: $740,148.59

Down Payment: $160,247.60

Loan Amount: $580,000.00

Loan Paid:  $70,337.11

Balance Property Loan Amount (as of Dec 31, 2017): $509,663.00

 

NEW MASJID PROJECT ESTIMATE: The cost of construction of the new Masjid is estimated to be about $3M. The permit fees and other miscellaneous City of Surrey fees are estimated to be about 50k. We are in discussion with our engineering team to bring the construction cost down t by utilizing steel and wood structure instead of brick structure.

NEW MASJID PROJECT TIMELINE:  Rezoning of the Masjid Property was unanimously approved by the City of Surrey on June 29, 2015. Final update of Masjid building and utilities design is in progress, which is required for the issuance of Development Permit.

The construction of the Masjid will take 24-36 months provided we have 100% funding.

PHASE-I: We need to raise at least $1M in donations to pay for Phase-I of the project which will include, demolition of existing structure, development permit, land development (side road, drainage, utilities) and foundation of the main building.

PHASE-II: Phase-II will include completion of main structure, finishing of the main Prayer Hall with wadu areas.

PHASE-III: Phase-III will include completion of parking area, landscaping, finishing the second floor for ladies prayer area, finishing the basement.
